Nice location. Small and cozy hotel. Plants climbing up the outer walls - nice, reminds of some German "historic hotels".
The room was cold when I arrived, and it took some hours to heat it up. It would be better if the heater was had been running awhile before my arrival.
I must say I found this hotel extremely bad, both concerning service (especially the breakfast staff). and the room which was very cold - and the bath lacked ventilation. The shower was from the seventies. Over all a hotel I will never return to.
It is good value for the money when you compare it to the other hotels in that area. The breakfast in the morning is first class. They do have smoking rooms
They only serve an evening meal Monday to Thursday and the menu is limited. The toilet and shower do not have underfloor heating and is very cold in the winter.
Only breakfast. No other food facility
Convenient location for my private reason of stay in Stavanger
Shabby hotel, which needs to be properly refurbished
My requirements for my business trip were fully met which I expected as I have stayed here previously
There were no tea/coffee facilities available.
The staff were efficient and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
situation is quite good. very quiet. At first i can not surf internet. The Staff in hetel help me at least 30 min friendly
Included, yet simple dinner
Wiress was a disaster, superior room was not really superior, but substandard (size, quality, amenities,...
Staff and the hotel itself. I is quite nice, However, see suggestion under "didn't like" section.
It is too far from the centre of Stavanger so it everyone to travel together to go out to dinner. No real options as far as, "Ill just go down and grab a sandwich and work at the hotel...". If it was about 2 km closer, I would give it 10 Stars. As it is, next trip, while I would love staying there, I probably won't. The thing that would make all the difference in the world for me woiuld be if the hotel had a shuttle every half hour into town...even every hour would suffice. That way people on business aren't by their traveling companion's preferences, etc. If I hear this is the case before I return (in early May) I will probably stay with you. If not, I will use one of the town hotels. Note, The stay will be about 10 nights. Thanks. Marv
Not very much. Friendly hotel welcome however wasnt explained about facilities. Brakfast time etc.
No bar. Carpet filthy on stairway up to rooms. Room was cold only heating was a convection heater on wall that was inadequate for the room size. I was cold all night. Bathroom freezing with air being sucked constantly leaving a very cold room. Too cold to take a shower or go to the toilet. No god night guarantee( meaning if your stay was poor you could claim a refund). Quite a common practice now in the United Kingdom.Ensuring that customers get a good deal. This was not a good deal. Breakfast room had poor lighting. Couldn't see what you were eating. Brown furniture with yellow fabric covered stained chairs. Breakfast was cold- even what was supposed to be warm. Scrambled eggs cold, one piece of bacon in serving hatch, baked beans cold.
hotel staff breakfast
Room was very cold Bathroom out of date
Very helpfull staf especialy Mr. Aron Steinarsson
friendly staff, very good breakfast, decent room standard
Very beautiful and tastefully designed rooms, very comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms. perfect value for money. location is not central, but then Stavanger is not that big!
